Privacy notice
Short, because there is not much to say: this site collects what you type into the enquiry form, and nothing else.
Who we are
Garman Technology Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at hello@garman-technology.co.uk.
What this website collects
The enquiry form. When you send us a message we keep what you enter — your name, company, email address, phone number if given, and the message — together with the page you sent it from and the network address it came from, so that we can tell genuine messages from automated ones. We use it to reply to you and, if we go on to work together, as the start of our record of that work. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. We keep enquiries for up to two years unless they become a client relationship.
Nothing else. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and loads nothing from third parties. If you follow a link to LinkedIn or to a booking service, their privacy notices apply from that point.
The map, only if you ask for it. The About and Contact pages show our address with a button to show a Google map. Until you press it, nothing is loaded from Google. When you do, Google Maps loads in the page and Google may set its own cookies and receive your IP address, under Google’s privacy policy.
Where it goes
Enquiries are stored in our own systems, hosted on Amazon Web Services in the London region, and are visible only to the people at Garman Technology who need to reply to you. We do not sell or share them.
Data we process for clients
When we build or run a system for a client, we process the personal data in it on that client's instructions, as a processor, under a written data processing agreement. Questions about data in a system we look after should go to the organisation that runs it.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our using it, by emailing hello@garman-technology.co.uk. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
