The situation
Simpson & Partners EV Ltd make custom electric vehicle chargers at an accessible price point. As the company grew, the operational side of the business was spread across several different tools, and the software around the product needed one team responsible for all of it.
What we built
We designed and built a bespoke ERP platform covering inventory and stock management, quoting, customer service and support, so the operation runs on one system rather than several. Alongside it we took on support and development of the wider software estate including the web systems and the mobile apps that customers and installers use, together with the software on the charger itself.
What changed
One team, one backlog and one set of people who understand how the back office, the apps and the product fit together. Changes that used to cross three suppliers now cross a desk.
